Occasionally, ScenarioBuilder will be updated with bug fixes, improvements or new features. If the update is signified as an important update, it should be applied as soon as possible. Otherwise, the update can be applied at any time to receive the changes it contains. Please review the information contained in the Release Notes.
Updating ScenarioBuilder is quick and easy and can be done in a couple of minutes.
If ScenarioBuilder is already installed on your environment, you can check for updates by clicking on Help in the menu, then click on "Check for Updates".
If there is no update available, you will see below message:
If you would like it to automatically check for updates when you launch ScenarioBuilder, check the "Check for software updates automatically" option.
If an update is available, you will see this message:
Click on the "Release Notes" link to review the release notes.
If you would like it to automatically check for updates when you launch ScenarioBuilder, check the "Check for software updates automatically" box.
Click on the "Install Updates" to update ScenarioBuilder.
Click on "Not Now" if you do not wish to update at the moment.
Tip: If the "Check for software updates automatically" box is selected, when you launch ScenarioBuilder and have Internet connection, ScenarioBuilder will check for an available update automatically. If an update is available, you will get the update available message with the button to "Install Updates".
Once the updating process is completed, check the “About” section to see the latest version that is installed.
Note: When updating between minor versions (e.g., from version 220.127.116.11 to 18.104.22.168 where the first two numbers are the same), a new license file is not required.
